So what does it take to find a safe haven for a gamer like me? A place where I can go to play games without an immense amount of competition, no need to invest any money and hopefully no risk of addiction? Honestly, I don’t know if there is such a place. It seems that most of the gaming websites out now are getting more competitive and are requiring more from its visitors than ever. Nowadays you have to register for most of them and what’s next, a social security number?
There are plenty of ways to waste time. I consider myself an expert at doing it, though I am sure I am not the only one. There are some days when I get right to work and I can work through the day with no problem. However, there are other days when I find myself looking for a way to play game online so that I don’t have to work. I don’t mean to do it, but some days I am just restless and need to do something else with my mind. It’s not very productive, but there are times I think it might just keep me sane.
There are plenty of places to play online game, and when you find one you like, you may go back time and time again. What can be a problem for some is the way these games work with your computer. Some might ask you to download something, and if you are on a site that seems trustworthy, that might not be a problem. If you need the software to play online game of any sort, you have to download. However, if you aren’t sure about the site, see if you can find the game somewhere else.
You may also have to worry about how fast and new your computer might be when you want to play online game sites. If you have just stared your computer up, you may find that the game will load quickly and you won’t have any problems. For some unknown reason, things on a computer will shut down on their own, and you may have trouble loading up a game that you normally play. While this can be confusing to you, you should know it is common. You should close down your browser and open a new one. If that doesn’t help, you may have to restart your computer. It’s a pain, but it usually fixes the problem.
Feeling defeated by the new “retro” gaming world, I tried a few sites that have some very exciting games to see if I could fit into the new mold. For example, I gave a few weeks to Boxerjam.com. Since it took time to get used to it, I found myself losing regularly and placing low among my peers. This hurt my self esteem and prompted me to cancel my membership, only to go back to the smoky lounges in my neighborhood for pool entertainment.
Next, I learned about a site called King.com, which also has a boatload of great games, including one of my favorites, Deal or No Deal. The game is so fun and addicting that I found myself entering new tournaments every few hours not good if you have a family, a job, or any life at all offline. Instead of getting my work done, I was literally finding new tournaments to enter that resulted in virtual prizes not a trophy being sent to my house, not money just a virtual prize. After realizing what I was doing I had to put a block up to stop myself from going to the site until I thought I’d kicked my addiction.

5. Mortal Kombat
The one that started it all. While it may seem pixelated and dated now, it was undoubtedly the most violent video game of its time. Spawning a huge fanbase, a movie, and a plethora of sequels, most of us have probably played Mortal Kombat in at least one form of another.
Who can forget pulling in a victim with Scorpions snapping beak “Get over here!” while following it up with a gruesome uppercut. The game used real life actors and mapped their faces onto sprites, creating a pretty strange yet realistic effect which made it all the more awesome when Sub Zero ripped someones head off, leaving their spine dangling below. Fatality!
4. Carmageddon
Originally released in 1997, this is an oldie but goldie. It’s still a thoroughly enjoyable game and was a breakthrough in its time with video scenes from inside the car and real world physics.
Think Mad Max on steroids and you’ll start to get a feel for Carmageddon which is set in a post apocalyptic world where the car rules. The idea is to race against a handful of other modified death cars through various levels, including deserts, industrial areas and populated cities, all to the tune of Fear Factories Demanufacture album (hell yes!). However, if you don’t feel like racing you can hunt down and destroy your enemies one by one until you’re the only survivor. Amongst all this, not only can you run over pedestrians, but you’re actively encouraged to do so, gaining extra time and credits for combo bonuses and “artist impressions” (which you get by utterly mangling a pedestrian).
Carmageddon caused media scandal when it first launched and in most countries a “safe” version was released with zombies, robots or aliens instead of people. In some countries the game was banned completely. None of this stops it from being an absolute classic and the first goanywhere 3D driving game which spawned 2 successful sequels.
3. Thrill Kill
Originally called S M for Slaughter and Mutilation, Thrill Kill for PlayStation was never released, it was axed 2 weeks before it was due to go out. EA said that they didn’t want to “publish such a senselessly violent game” and stated it was so offensive that they wouldn’t sell the game to another publisher either. Fortunately for us former employees of EA released it onto the internet which are still available.
Incredibly simple, Thrill Kill consisted of only a single room where up to 4 opponents fight to the death. The usual life bar is replaced with a kill meter, which grows as you do more damage to your opponent, eventually you’re able to activate Thrill Kills which were always awesomely brutal, sometimes sexual, moves like dismemberment, mutilation, cattle prods down the throat or crushing skulls with stilts. Oh yes. One of Cleetus’ lethal finishing moves was to tear the head off his opponent and drink the blood that leaked out of his victim’s severed neck. The story goes that the 8 characters all led devious lives and died in various ways, have gone to hell. A modern day hell which reflects todays real life. Marukka, the God of Secrets has pitted them against each other, promising to give rebirth to the one survivor. Each character is battling for selfpreservation and the hope to be born again.
Cleetus, for example, is a redneck cannibal. The only victim that he didn’t eat escaped minus a leg, which Cleetus carries around for good luck (and occasionally uses as a weapon). Dr. Faustus, a master surgeon, died from an infection after installing his stainless steel jaws, made from a bear trap.
Oddball was a top FBI agent who hunted down serial killers. He began to admire them and slowly slipped into insanity. Oddball is extremely intelligent, cunning, and without remorse. Pity, sympathy, and compassion have no meaning to him. Although his arms are bound in his cozy little straight jacket, he has learned to adapt, as any good predator should.
2. Postal 2
One feature in Postal 2 is the ability to pick up cats as an inventory item. When used, the player shoves the barrel of the currently equipped firearm into the cat’s anus, as a ’silencer’. Every time a shot is fired, the cat meows in apparent agony, and the gunshot is muffled. After several shots the cat will be killed and will fly from the end of the weapon.
Any game where you can use a cat as a silencer has to be worth mentioning. Highly violent, both Postal and Postal 2 met with much protest from various activist groups. However, the Running With Scissors software company who created the series responded by saying that the amount of violence in the game is entirely dependent upon the player. In fact, it’s actually possible (though very difficult) to complete the entire game without harming anyone.
The game is split from Monday to Friday and the tasks are simple things on a todo list like ‘Cash Paycheck’, ‘Confess sins’, ‘Get milk’, etc. To accomplish these seemingly simple tasks, the player can chose to be peaceful or utterly, all out violent with unique gameplay changes for each choice.Some violent features include the ability to decapitate people with shovels, and then kick their heads around or play fetch with a dog, cops who beat innocent NPCs to death with batons, even if the NPC surrenders and begs for mercy and setting fire to people with gasoline, matches, napalm and moltov cocktails.Not content with just being violent, Postal 2 is also pretty disgusting. You have the ability to urinate on people, causing them to vomit in disgust. You can also urinate on food items which are then eaten and regurgitated by cops. Using an Antrhaxfilled cow’s head as a weapon causes victims to vomit blood. Oh and you can also stun gun people til they cower in fear and urinate themselves..Featuring ATF, SWAT, the National Guard, psycho butchers, religious cults, the Taliban and Gary Coleman, Postal 2 has earned itself a violent and revolting reputation and is illegal in at least 3 countries.
1. Manhunt
Quite possibly the most violent game in the list, Manhunt revolves around James Earl Cash who has been sentenced to death by lethal injection. His injection is replaced with a sedative and Cash is abducted by a wealthy Hollywood director. The director has a thing for Snuff flicks and sets up Cash as his latest star, butchering local gangs on film in the most violent and horrific ways possible.
The director communicates with Cash via an earpiece and security cameras record his murders. For extra points the player must carry out more gruesome kills. These range from suffocation by plastic bag, decapitation, jamming a crowbar in the enemys skull, etc.
Manhunt was banned outright in several countries when it was launched and later in the UK the game was linked to an actual murder case of a 14 year old, Stefan Pakeerah by a 17 year old, Warren Leblanc. Stefans mother claimed that Leblanc had been obsessed with Manhunt after he pleaded guilty in court and as such most vendors in the UK removed Manhunt from their stocks. This led to a significant increased demand from other retailers and internet auction sites. Police denied any link, but it still strikes a chilling cord. Especially when you consider that Leblanc murdered his friend by stabbing him with a claw hammer, identical to an execution shown in Manhunt.

Runecrafting allows you to make your own runes, a useful skill considering that spells use quite a lot of them. The first necessary step to take is to mine Rune Essence from the Essence Mine. The Abyss comes highly recommended by a number of players. However, getting to these mines is no easy task. Finding the mine can be quite challenging and very few sources can teleport you to it. Those who can include the Wizard Distentor of the Yanille Magic Guild, the Wizard Cromperty, found Northeast of the Ardougne Market, and Brimstail Gnome, found in a cave in the southwest corner of the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
Mining is a practical way for newcomers to fund later adventures. After a few days of mining, you can sell your bulk essence. Since the price you get for it greatly depends upon the quantity, you should have at least 1,000 essence. There are two types of essence, normal essence and pure essence. You can mine pure essence if you are a member with at least level 30. Pure essence can then be used to craft any rune while normal essence can only be used to craft fire, earth, air, water, mind and body runes.
With the right knowhow, runecrafting can be an excellent way to make fast money. While finding lucrative and convenient altars can be challenging, a mid to high level player can benefit from heading out into the wild, as the best altars are found far from the banks. In order to runecraft, the player must have reached at least level 35. Up until that point, one can make air runes with 4,482 rune essence. From level 35 up to level 44, you can make chaos runes with 3,911 rune essence. Once above level 44, you can make nature runes and sell them for anywhere between 300 and 500 gp a piece. These runes yield the highest profit.
When runecrafting, it is advisable to wear boots of lightness and wear minimal armor and weaponry. Only a pickaxe is needed. It is recommended to have pouches with you to allow you to carry more essence. Remember to use your pouches if you have them. They will save you time and money.
To make nature runes quickly, you must
Convert all rune essence into bank notes.
Take 4 times the amount of gp as you have essence.
Take notes to the shop near the village.
Sell your notes to the shop and buy them back in real form.
Go to the Altar to craft nature runes.
Return to the shop and repeat as many times as you wish.
There a lot of ways to runecraft. These are just a few pointers to get you started. The true secret lies in experience and practice.

Mass Wyvern is Weak for Early Game.
Also, while waiting for the wyvern, your heroes have little to do and dont creep well.
A good strategy is then to combine it with strategies that good early on but bad in late.
That is towering.
So, quickly build tower for expansion. I learn this from Wilma Flinstone.
Then proceed as usual.
For the second hero, we can use the Tauren Chieftain. The number of peon can be 1314.
First hero is the usual far seer.
Buy a lot of items to enchance your hero. Its your hero that will mainly do the killing. Is 3 hero a good idea? Havent tried.
If the enemies use a lot of anti air, the Tauren Chieftain is a good counter. Tauren Chieftain Storm Ground can make the enemies ground to air units do nothing.
Your Far Seer, can make wolves and cast Chain Lightning often.
Now, often, the enemy will have pesky Dreadlord doing sleep.
Here is a secret of sleep. When you are sleeping, command the farseer to do what you want to do anyway. For example, say you want your Farseer to do chain lightning. Command him to do chain lightning anyway.
If the sleep level is low, chance is your Farseer will wake up soon. Once he wake up, he will automatically do the chain lightning you command.
Chance is the cool down for chain lightning will be about the same with the cool down for the sleep. So, the sleep really does nothing.
If the sleep level is high, command the Farseer to do the chain lightning anyway, and then tell one of your unit to attack the Farseer. The unit will only attack the Farseer once.
Hero dont sleep too long.
Now, tower creeping, can also be combined with tower expand. That means more wyvern. Perhaps, some taurens?

After PS3 games, then what? Well, one would think that developments in the next decade would definitely grow at an exponential rate.
